People use a variety of pronouns for a variety of reasons. I originally used 'they' because 'he' and 'she' feel very wrong to me, and I didn't want to make people's lives harder by choosing something unusual. Over time however, I have realised that 'they' doesn't accurately capture who I am. I don't wish to be a 'default pronoun'.I've come to realise that I feel best with no pronouns (see below). I would ask that you not use ‘they’ as a default and instead, just use my name.
